Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 Player Auction Scheduled for August 15 and 16

As the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) nears its 10th anniversary on July 26, Mashal Sports has announced that the PKL Season 11 Player Auction will take place on August 15 and 16 in Mumbai. The league began a decade ago with a thrilling match between U Mumba and the Jaipur Pink Panthers in Mumbai. Having successfully completed its tenth season from December 2, 2023, to March 1, 2024, the PKL has become the second sporting league in India to reach this milestone, according to a PKL release.

Ahead of Season 11, Mashal Sports has unveiled a new logo for the league. The logo features the saffron and green colors, reminiscent of the Indian tricolor, highlighting kabaddi as a sport of national pride.

Anupam Goswami, League Commissioner for the Pro Kabaddi League, expressed excitement about the upcoming auction. “Kabaddi, a sport deeply rooted in Indian tradition, is now showcased as a world-class competitive discipline through Pro Kabaddi. This milestone is a significant achievement for all stakeholders and the kabaddi ecosystem in India. We look forward to celebrating this accomplishment with patriotic enthusiasm at the Season XI Player Auction,” Goswami stated.
