Dimitri Petratos, the standout player of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023/24 season, has committed to Mohun Bagan Super Giant for another two years. The club confirmed the contract extension on Thursday.

Outstanding Season Performance

The 31-year-old Australian forward had a remarkable season, netting 10 goals and providing seven assists. Expressing his gratitude, Petratos said, “I’m grateful for the club having faith in me. I’ll try to help the team win more trophies.”

Upcoming Season and Team Enhancements

Petratos is scheduled to join Jose Molina’s squad next week after addressing family matters in Australia. He acknowledged the team’s stronger lineup this season and welcomed fellow Australian Jamie Maclaren to the club.

Petratos’ Journey with Mohun Bagan

Since joining Mohun Bagan Super Giant on July 18, 2022, Petratos has made a significant impact. He debuted on October 10 against Chennaiyin FC, assisting Manvir Singh’s opening goal. So far, Petratos has scored 22 goals in 46 appearances for the club.

International Career

On the international front, Petratos debuted for the Australian national team in 2018 and has represented his country in three matches.
