“India Clinch Victory in Thrilling Super Over: Rinku Singh and Suryakumar Yadav Shine”

India clinched a series sweep against Sri Lanka with a dramatic Super Over victory in the third and final T20I at Pallekele on Tuesday, sealing the series 3-0. Kusal Perera (46 off 34 balls) and Kusal Mendis (43 off 41 balls) led Sri Lanka’s chase of 138, but their efforts fell short as Sri Lanka finished at 137/8, forcing the match into a Super Over. Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Rinku Singh, and captain Suryakumar Yadav each took two wickets for India. In the Super Over, India needed just three runs to secure the win.

Earlier in the match, Sri Lanka’s bowlers, led by spinners Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana, held India to 137/9. Shubman Gill top-scored for India with 39, supported by Riyan Parag’s 26.
