Hardik Pandya’s Wife Natasa Drops Major Hint About Trip to Serbia With Son Agastya

As the discussions around India all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s potential future as the national T20I captain intensify, his personal and professional lives are drawing significant attention. Currently, Pandya’s wife, Natasa Stankovic, has become a topic of interest on social media, hinting at a trip back home to Serbia with their son, Agastya.
Pandya, who was widely expected to secure India’s full-time T20I captaincy, might now see Suryakumar Yadav take over the role. This potential shift comes as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) remains uncertain about Pandya’s long-term fitness. Additionally, Pandya has reportedly confirmed his unavailability for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka due to personal reasons.

Amidst these developments, Natasa Stankovic’s recent Instagram activity has fans talking. She shared images of her packing bags, captioned “It’s that time of the year,” accompanied by plane and house emojis. Later, she was seen at the airport with her son Agastya, with Pandya notably absent.
Suryakumar Yadav is anticipated to take over the T20I captaincy from Rohit Sharma. Sharma recently led India to victory in the T20 World Cup before retiring from the format alongside seasoned players Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja.

Despite Hardik Pandya’s extensive captaincy experience—including leading India in three ODIs and 16 T20Is, as well as captaining Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in the IPL—his recurring injuries have hindered his availability. An ankle injury during the ODI World Cup in October 2023 sidelined him until IPL 2024. Since early 2022, Pandya has participated in only 46 of India’s 79 T20Is.
Suryakumar Yadav brings a wealth of leadership experience, having captained Mumbai in domestic cricket and India in the T20I series against Australia and South Africa last year. His aggressive batting style aligns well with contemporary T20 cricket, making him a key player in India’s lineup.
The Sri Lanka tour will also mark the beginning of Gautam Gambhir’s tenure as India’s head coach, succeeding Rahul Dravid after the T20 World Cup. This tour is crucial as it represents the first step in building the team for the next T20 World Cup, scheduled for 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.
