Shubman Gill And India Stars Enjoy Wildlife Tour In Harare Ahead Of 3rd T20I
Ahead of the third T20I against Zimbabwe, the Indian team, along with their families and support staff, visited a wildlife sanctuary in Harare to unwind from their cricketing commitments. The BCCI’s official ‘X’ handle shared images of this visit, stating, “The BCCI, along with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism, organized a Wildlife Tour for the Indian Cricket Team & their families in Harare.”
The Indian squad will see the return of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal for the remaining matches of the series. These players were instrumental in India’s recent T20 World Cup victory in the USA and the West Indies.
Due to their delayed return from Barbados, the BCCI initially included Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana in India’s squad for the first two T20Is. Sudharshan made his T20I debut in the second match but did not bat.
Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, the Indian team bounced back strongly with a convincing 100-run victory over Zimbabwe, leveling the five-match series 1-1 after losing the series opener.
The third T20I between India and Zimbabwe is scheduled to take place in Harare on Wednesday, July 10.
