"Son Heung-min Leads Tottenham to 4-3 Victory Over K-League All Stars in Seoul"

Son Heung-min delivered an impressive performance with two goals as Tottenham Hotspur secured a 4-3 victory over the K-League All Stars in a preseason match held in Seoul on Wednesday.

The game saw Dejan Kulusevski open the scoring for Tottenham in the 29th minute. Son Heung-min, making a memorable return to his home country, added to the tally with a superb curling shot from the edge of the box in the 38th minute, finding the top right corner. He further extended Spurs’ lead just before halftime, teaming up with Kulusevski to score his second goal, placing the ball neatly into the bottom corner and giving his side a 3-0 advantage.

In the second half, the K-League All Stars made significant changes, bringing on a new lineup as their fan-chosen starters were replaced. The adjustment started to pay off when Stanislav Iljutcenko capitalized on a rebound in the 52nd minute, slotting the ball past Spurs’ goalkeeper Brandon Austin. Iljutcenko quickly added another goal two minutes later with a diving header off a cross from Jeong Jae-hee.

Following a series of substitutions by Tottenham, Will Lankshear restored Spurs’ two-goal lead with a volley from a Timo Werner cross in the 66th minute. The K-League All Stars responded in the 81st minute when Oberdan scored a first-time volley after Austin failed to clear a corner properly.

Despite a late effort from James Maddison, who struck the post during stoppage time, Tottenham managed to hold on for the win.

South Korean teenager Yang Min-hyeok, recently signed by Tottenham and currently playing for Gangwon FC in the K-League, started for the K-League All Stars but had limited impact. He will join Spurs in January.

Tottenham will next face Bayern Munich in Seoul on Saturday.
